  Actually surprised at the one review Hungry Monk has on here.
  As an East Belfast local for the past 4 years we've been one of Hungry Monks' best customers now for at least the last 3.
  We tend to order for delivery via Just Eat (top cashback y'see, woo) and our orders arrive no longer than 30 mins later.
  Hungry Monk use the biggest take away containers I've ever seen.  A chicken curry could feed me two HUGE servings or three decent meals.  The portions are complete value for money, there's certainly no scrimping on their portion sizes.  
  Big props go to their Salted Chilli Chips which always arrive steaming hot, flavourful and just the right amount of crunch!  
  Their Salted Chilli Squid starter could be classed as a main dish.
  Also highly recommend their Foo Yung and Curry dishes.
  If you're looking for a decent take away in East Belfast you cannot go wrong with Hungry Monk.

  The Hungry Monk just refused my order because they were busy and I was ordering for one. The order was for over £8 and above the minimum £5. I think it is disgraceful not to honour their stated terms of service and won't be ordering again. Very annoyed and hungry.

  Disgusting food smelt off looked like vomit not even warm, rang to inform the resturant of my disapointment and was met with a f*** you attitude, i didnt ask for a refund just informed them of my disapointment thinking they would offer a fresh one or an alternative meal but no was straight up told to do one. After he was done shouting and i tried to ask him to calm down he shouted louder and hung up. Clearly not interested in his customers or giving a good standard service, plz plz avoid
